"Color Was Way Different Than Expected"
I was disappointed when the kendama showed up because the color didn’t really match the photos at all. It looked way brighter online, but in person it was a lot duller. When I reached out to support, it kind of felt like they were blaming me for expecting it to look like the pictures, which just made the whole thing more frustrating.

"I was trying to order a kendama..."
I was trying to order a kendama and thought it was going fine at first, but the checkout started acting up right after I entered my shipping info. The page froze, then somehow kicked me back and made me type everything in again. I couldn’t tell if my info saved or if the order was halfway through, which was frustrating.

Then the total changed near the end, and there wasn’t a clear reason why. Maybe there was a fee or shipping adjustment, but it felt like the site wasn’t telling me what was happening. The products might be great, but after a few tries I just gave up because the checkout made the whole thing feel unreliable.

"I really like a lot of the brands…"
I really like a lot of the brands Sweets Kendamas carries, and every time I browse the site I see kendamas that look awesome. The frustrating part is that the one I want is almost always sold out, or the size/color options are super limited once I click in. I totally get that popular stuff sells fast, but the restocks feel slow, and I ended up ordering from another shop instead. It’s not a bad site at all, but if you’re looking for something specific, it can be a little disappointing. I left feeling more annoyed than excited, which isn’t really what I’m hoping for when shopping for a new kendama.

"Kind of hard to shop on"
I don’t know, the site just feels a bit messy and outdated to me. Like, the colors kind of clash and it makes everything feel harder to look at than it should be. I wanted to browse, but it didn’t really make me feel confident about buying anything there...

I’m new to kendama, this site kind of made things harder than they needed to be. The product names and details were confusing, and I couldn’t really tell what would be good for a first setup. Maybe that’s on them for assuming everyone already knows what they’re looking at. I ended up just getting frustrated and stopped browsing. Probably fine if you already know your stuff, but it wasn’t much help for me.

I had an issue and figured the warranty would help sort it out, but it didn’t do much. I kept going back and forth and it felt like nobody was really fixing anything, just kind of passing it along. Frustrating, because the product might’ve been fine, but dealing with the support side made the whole purchase feel like a headache.

"Delivery wasn’t very reliable"
I ordered from sweetskendamas.com and, umm, the delivery ended up being a lot slower than I expected. The tracking barely updated, so for a few days I had no idea where my order was. It did finally show up, but it was late and kind of frustrating to deal with. I probably wouldn’t order again if I needed something by a specific date

"Tutorials could be a lot more beginner-friendly"
I wanted to give the tutorials a fair shot, but they didn’t help me much. They felt a little too thin on details and kind of hard to follow if you’re just starting out. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but it seems fair to include clearer explanations for beginners. I ended up going to YouTube to fill in the gaps, which was disappointing.

I grabbed a kendama from sweetskendamas.com and at first the paint grip actually felt good. Like, for the first day I was thinking, okay, cool, this might be solid.

Then after just a few sessions it started getting slick in this weird dusty-feeling way, and it never really recovered. Lunars and stalls kept sliding off, which was extremely fun and not at all frustrating, obviously.

Maybe I just got unlucky with mine, but for the price I was expecting the grip to last a lot longer. I’m calm about it, totally calm, but yeah, I wouldn’t buy this paint again

"Packaging didn’t meet my standards"
My order arrived in a beat-up, crushed box, and the packaging inside wasn’t much better. I’m a little particular about how stuff is packed, especially when it’s something like a kendama, and this just didn’t meet my standards. It had a few scuffs from shifting around during shipping, which was disappointing. I expected it to be packed with more care

"Didn’t hold up like I hoped"
I was disappointed with how long it lasted. After just a short time of normal use, the paint was already chipping badly, and the wood dented way easier than you’d expect. I’m not rough with it at all, so for the price, you’d think it would hold up better. I wouldn’t buy it again.

At first I thought support was going to help, and they seemed responsive, which was nice. But then the issue never actually got fixed, and after a while they just stopped replying altogether. it was kind of frustrating, but whatever, I guess I expected better.

I don’t think I’m being picky here, but trying to use the site on my phone was genuinely annoying. The pages took too long to load, the filters felt awkward to use, and the checkout kept jumping around on the screen. I really did try to get through it, but I ended up giving up before placing an order.
